Ioannis Alexandris is a political scientist and public affairs consultant specializing in political, macroeconomic, and regulatory risks in Europe. His research focusses on foreign policy, international trade, tech policy, geo-economics, and the interplay between politics, business, and financial markets. Since 2023, he has also served as a Research Fellow for the South-East Europe Programme at the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), a leading think tank in the region.
Previously, he worked as a trainee at the Council of the European Union (Enlargement Unit) and as a Research Officer at the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA). Ioannis holds an MA (with distinction) in International Relations from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London and a bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
